Diving in ZANTE 
There are two major categories of divers:

-   Certified Divers ( divers with diving licence that is)

-   Try Divers ( people that do not have diving licence , and usually have
never dived before).The diving is done at the TURTLE ISLAND ( Marathonisi) in Lagana bay which is a protected National Marine Park.

Τhe dive centre is located in the center of Lagana next to Mambo restaurant and you can see big yellow diving boats on the beach in front of it. We provide transportation to the dive center and back to the pickup point.
We provide all the equipment , and we explain how everything works. People do not dive alone . A dive professional is diving with two try divers at the same time. No more than two so he can make sure that everybody is SAFE. SAFETY is our number one rule.
Before diving , there is a 20min dive briefing where the dive professional explains about equipment, what everything is and how to use it. Then we explain how we equalize the pressure for the ears and the rest of the air spaces . We explain hand signals used for communication underwater and how to behave with underwater sea life.
We start the dive in very shallow water (lm of depth) and if everything is fine , we gradually go deeper up to 10m maximum depth.The dive itself lasts 25 to 30 minutes. All you need is to be over 8 years old and have no major health issues. We do not use small uncomfortable ribs where people are packed . We use big diving boats where people are comfortable and safe.  We also take people who do not wish to dive for snorkling so if there is a company of people and only some want to dive, the rest can follow snorkling.
Do you see a turtle underwater ? Only if you get lucky enough. Turtles look for shallow water because its warmer and cold-blooded animals seek warm water to warm up. Usually they avoid divers but you never know.
How do I look underwater ? Well we can make underwater photos and video for your diving and then you can show your friends about the amazing moments you had diving.
